Carmen has worked as a University lecturer in Accounting and Agribusiness and enjoys working with people to improve their business skills. She also has extensive experience in Local Government, both in economic and community development as well as corporate governance.
Together with her husband and other family members, she is a partner in a mixed farming business at Tallimba, in the Northern Riverina. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Agricultural Commerce), a Master of Professional Accounting and a Cert IV in Training Small Groups.
Carmen brings a relaxed atmosphere and a sense of humour to the workshops and seminars she presents and a lived understanding of the complexities and challenges involved in farm business.
Esther grew up on a family farm in central NSW. As qualified Occupational Therapist she has worked in mental health for nearly 20 years and has completed Post Graduate studies in suicide prevention and research in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Her career has taken her from Australia to the UK in settings ranging from metropolitan based psychiatric intensive care units to community based services and mental health promotion roles.
Most recently Esther has worked specifically in the counselling field and has a special interest in providing high quality mental health support and consultancy for rural and remote populations.
