xmas-presents

Stuck for farmer present ideas this Christmas – Check these out

Yeti drink bottle or stubby holder – they are the bomb. Yeti also do coffee cups but save this for a mid year birthday or mother’s or father’s day. They are online at https://au.yeti.com/collections/rambler but you may have a local retailer. –

Kate Burke’s book “Crops People Money and You” – It’s an easy read and one of our favourites. https://www.thinkagri.com.au/product/crops-people-money-you/– A new belt, diary or log book cover. There are lots of online, local and Australian made options available

A home made voucher for some time off farm. Could be dinner or visiting friends. Better still just book a long weekend away in Feb. You are going to be behind on the spraying anyway, whether you go or not.

A flower subscription. @thecaithnessbunch (who made the wreath below) is offering seasonal subscriptions delivered through the year. A florist or grower in your area might be doing something similar.

Archies thongs – They are super comfy thongs with arch supports, only $35. Comparable to far more expensive orthotic thongs I have had in the past. I got mine at a shoe shop and later saw them for sale in my GPs waiting room. https://archiesfootwear.com.au/

A little Milwaukee battery powered chainsaw. They also have bigger ones. Great to have in the tool box for smaller branches on fences or to do the lighter part of the wood cutting and garden jobs. https://www.gettoolsdirect.com.au/milwaukee-12v-6-152mm….

If you think they would be interested, one of our online courses. Make sure you add in a note explaining how much you appreciate what they do, and how you want it to be easier for them and explaining how you are going to help with childcare/farm work/or housework so they can get the course done. Otherwise it’s a bit like getting nasal hair trimmer or an upper lip wax as a present.
